Much of the rest sets out the grim routine and costly errors of an insurgent war: searching for weapons, enduring daily attacks, dealing with locals who could be friend, foe, or something in between.
More time should be spent in dealing with true feelings, and some real friends will experience some unforgettable experiences. Not all people need to be friends. Give the heart to those who deserve it. After all, bosom friend one or two has been worth thousands of acquaintances.
