Synthesis and swelling properties of multiresponsive chitosan microgel
A new polyelectrolyte hydrogel and its hybrid hydrogel with the Laponite clay were prepared, and their swelling properties were investigated.
The results show that the swelling properties of the synthetic resins in polar solvents are better than those in nonpolar solvents.
