The paper first gives an introduction of the regional geology in Bashan manganese ore zone and makes an analysis of its typical deposits of various kinds.
The result of the restored evolutional history of regional geology and paleohydrogeology demonstrated that only possible period for ore-forming is Yunlong ( Ey ) .
According to regional geology and deep data, the deposit is considered as a gliding nappe system, whose upper and lower shielding layers are sandy mudstone, the middle part is dolomite.
