Stems erect, dichotomous, angulate, glabrous or pubescent.
Capsule subglobose, ca. 9 mm in diam., valves slightly smooth and flat, not obviously angulate.
Herbs annual. Stems decumbent or erect, 30-90 cm tall, branched, angulate , with sparse retrorse prickles along angles.
