Effect of beating process on reclamation properties of recycled plant fiber
Chitosan is applied extensively as flocculation agent of wastewater, reinforcing agent, retention aid, surface modification agent, additive in beating process in papermaking industry.
The results indicated that CMC acts like lubricant, and can promote fibrillation, protect the bamboo fiber from over cutting during beating process.
