LG Display has already seen a sharp increase in its earnings in the fourth quarter and analysts say its earnings outlook for this year remains bright.
Technology stocks were rallying after their recent weakness with Samsung Electronics up 3.7% before its third-quarter guidance due Thursday and LG Display gained 4.1%.
